There is no founding myth here. Nobody quit a corporate job after a moment of clarity in an airport. BAGGG exists because the same handful of bag shapes keep circulating — the crescent, the bucket, the baguette, the slouchy tote — and the gap between what they cost to make and what they sell for in a boutique is absurd.

So we sell those shapes at what they are worth, and we are open about how that works.

What we stock

63 bags and 11 wallets, in 43 colours. Sixty-one of the 63 bags sit between $29 and $69; two cost more, and say so on their own pages. Every one of our 203 colour variants has its own photograph, so the olive bag you click is photographed in olive — not a black bag with a swatch stuck beside it.

New colours arrive monthly. Shapes change more slowly.

The rules we hold ourselves to

These are checkable, which is the point of writing them down.

We never call anything genuine leather. What looks like leather in our photos is vegan leather — polyurethane. It behaves like the bags it is modelled on. Calling it something it is not would be the easiest lie in this industry and we are not telling it.

We say where the bags come from. They are produced and dispatched by our fulfilment partner in China. That is why delivery takes a week and a half instead of two days, and a large part of why the price is what it is.

When a bag is expensive, we explain why on its page. Five bags cost far more to produce and land — IRIS, SELLE, SOFIA, TRESSE and RENA, from $55 to $99. Each carries a short explainer saying what makes it cost more, instead of leaving you to guess.

No prices inside the product copy. The price sits next to it on the page. Writing it into the description twice is how stores end up contradicting themselves.

We do not fake demand. No counters saying a bag was bought four times today, no invented star ratings, no reviews from customers who do not exist. When we have real numbers, we will show real numbers.
